I've always preferred Rear Window, with Vertigo, Psycho, Strangers on a Train and Shadow of a Doubt close behind.

BTW, Shadow of a Doubt was Hitch's personal favorite among his American films.

For me, it's always been a toss-up between North by Northwest and Psycho. I voted for NBNW today.

Vertigo followed by Rebecca.

I've given Vertigo, North by Northwest, Psycho, and Rebecca all 10/10 ratings on imdb... most of any director, but my favorite is definitely Vertigo.

Da Boids

I've still gotta give it to "Vertigo", but as I get older and watch the movies over and over again, "Notorious" and "Rear Window" are gaining fast on its heels!

Rear Windows is my favorite.

Shadow of a Doubt for me.

Rear Window will always be my favorite. No matter how many times I see it, the pacing always seems perfect. And Grace Kelly always appears astoundingly beautiful.

Psycho

Vertigo by a country mile,it was Hitch's favorite and mine too

Rear Window. It's perfectly balanced, unlike the sometimes sluggish (and even silly) Vertigo.

Rear Window followed closely by North by Northwest.

The Lady Vanishes

I like both Rear Windows and Vertigo the best. Followed by Notorious, Rebecca, and North by Northwest.

I voted for Rear Window. Jimmy Stewart's facial expressions were the best since "It's a Wonderful Lfe".

This is a tough one, but I've got to go with Vertigo followed very, very closely by Rear Window.

Vertigo is my fave, though tough choice, also loved Psycho and North by Northwest.

I voted for Vertigo, but blackmail is a great one as well...
