While this would be ideal casting IMO, I thought they had already cast an unknown in the role, an actress by the name of Brooke Adams (not the older one), for a brief part in Spidey 2.

Brooke Adams was never credited as being the Black Cat or her alter ego Felicia Hardy. And I think it would be weird to make the villain Black Cat when we are already introduced to Dr. Connors in Spidey 1 and Dylan Baker plays him in 2. I haven't heard anything in the pipeline yet as far as any script or casting for Spidey 3. Also, will Eddie Brock pop back up since he was mentioned in Spidey 1? And what about JJJ's son? He becomes Man-Wolf.

I think her husky voice has something to do with her smoking. I seem to recall seeing several pics of her during breaks on sets with a cancer stick in her mouth.
You can tell the difference as well if you compare her voice on her early Buffy appearances with those in the later Angel/final Buffy eps.

Whats' the big deal about Eliza. She's very cute, I'll admit that, but evertime she opens her mouth all attractiveness flies out the window. Her acting seems very forced in anything I've every seen her in. Very generic actress in my opinion.

I think a lot of Eliza's appeal comes from her Faith character (cool, sexy and slutty). But she is also very hot.
