I was just curious to know if there any recognition or awards handed to the best trailers and film posters for recent 2003 films.

I would vote baracine for Best Poster if they had such an award.

Don't know about trailers, but I believe there is some kind of award for best poster (or maybe it's a best marketing award) - because I remember Silence of the Lambs winning one year for their poster of the butterfly over Jodie Foster's mouth.
