I know there are 4 volumes of the show available, but those include only the episodes directed by Hitch himself. As many fans of the show will tell you, there were MANY episodes directed by others that were just as good, if not better, than the ones Hitch did. This show was as big in the 50s and 60s as was the Twilight Zone. It would be great if (like the Twilight Zone), every episode of this classic show would finally come to DVD. The seventeen half hour episodes that Hitchcock directed are available on four seperate DVDs, which were released only as parts of box sets many years ago.

One annoyance is that the movies in the three disc boxes are also in the eight disc boxes, so it's not a good way to collect them. Another annoyance is that it doesn't have the hour long episode he directed, 'I Saw the Whole Thing'.

It's pretty hard to find those in stores these days, though. E-bay usually has the individual discs.

Other episodes that I know of are:
'The Cheney Vase' [on the 'Young and Innocent' DVD]
'The Sorcerer's Apprentice' [on the 'Rich and Strange' DVD]

Universal should just release the entire series in season boxes. But, at the very least, they should bundle the four available volumes together. Selling different volumes with the same films just doesn't make sense.

Painkiller's right, jblackie. To better understand the predicament Universal has layed in Hitchcock fans' laps, see my post in this thread. It shows how in order to get all of the Presents dvds (if you were to buy them retail) , you would end up with duplicate dvds. Very frustrating.
