Did CLIFFORD'S REALLY BIG MOVIE open anywhere?

I was hoping that CLIFFORD'S REALLY BIG MOVIE would open near me, as I wanted to take my 2.5 year old to see it, as a test run to see if she could sit through a movie. (She wants to see HOME ON THE RANGE, and CLIFFORD would be a great experiment). But, it didn't open near me, and when I experimented putting random zip codes into movietickets.com, it didn't seem to be playing anywhere else either? Does anyone see it in their local listings?

Unless you live in New York, Atlanta, or a few other markets; the film is not playing anywhere else.

Only 3 theaters here in NYC .... the NY Times says it has "...clumsy, gaudy animation.....benign tedium".

It's playing at my local theater here in the Phoenix area. I am not surprised since it is a 30 screen multiplex.

Thanks for the replies. Now at least I know that the movie opened somewhere.

It's playin in about 20 theaters alone in the Minneapolis area. Good luck with your kid, I hope you have better luck than I have. My daughter, who will be four in August, made it through Piglet's Big Adventure and through Jungle Book 2, but when I tried to take her to Finding Nemo last year (when she was just under three years old) it didn't work too well. She hasn't been back since, but might try again with Home on the Range. Heaven have mercy on my soul.

Wow, I didn't know they made this a movie. I checked imdb and couldn't find anything on it. Was this completed before John Ritter passed on???

No, his ghost came in on weekends to record his lines.

Now that was mean. Funny, but mean.

I had no idea that there was even a Clifford film being released until FilmJerk mentioned it in their Weekly Report. Either way, Warner is probably giving it a quick 60 theater theatrical release before shipping it off to video. They've done it for a few of their "family" titles before (Shiloh and MVP come to mind), so I'm kinda not surprised about this one.
