How many Mercury Music Prize winning albums do you have

So I got the Dizzee Rascal CD the other day and am quite enjoying it - it figures it took a Brit to bring back my favorite hip-hop breakbeat - Billy Squier's "Big Beat." Anyway, the Mercury Music Prize seems to have a whole lot more credibility than the Grammys (although the latter gets props for selecting OutKast this year). So, how many Mercury Music Prize winning albums do you have?

1992: Primal Sream - Screamadelica
1993: Suede - Suede
1994: M People - Elegant Slumming
1995: Portishead - Dummy
1996: Pulp - Different Class
1997: Roni Size/Reprazent - New Forms
1998: Gomez - Bring It On
1999: Talvin Singh - OK
2000: Badly Drawn Boy - The Hour of the Bewilderbeast
2001: PJ Harvey - Stories from the City, Stories from the Sea
2002: Ms. Dynamite - A Little Deeper
2003: Dizzee Rascal - Boy in da Corner

I've got five: Primal Scream, Pulp, Badly Drawn Boy, Ms. Dynamite, and Dizzee Rascal. I won the Talvin Singh disc in a giveaway by a website back in 1999 (TheDen.com - now dead), but never received it, so I guess that doesn't count.

I have one, Primal Scream. You've piqued my curiousity regarding Dizzee Rascal though.

The only one that I have is BDB's The Hour of the Bewilderbeast. I have come very close to picking up the Gomez and Portishead albums on several occasions. Maybe I will actually do so one day.

Mine, like most, has a distinct lack of M-People...

I always thought that the Mercury prize was the kiss of death for any new artist?

Your answer is also my answer. I've only got the BDB album but really should pick up Gomez, Portishead and PJ Harvey.

I was impressed with the list until I got to the Darkness, it must be a misprint. I have about 10 of the albums including all the Radiohead, Prodigy and Chemical Brothers albums.

Primal Scream, Badly Drawn Boy & PJ Harvey.

PJ Harvey's "Stories from the City" is a brilliant record.
