This band gave us such great songs as Just One Look, Look Through Any Window, Bus Stop, On a Carousel, Carrie Anne,
King Midas in Reverse, He Aint Heavy, Long Cool Woman and
The Air That I Breathe.

The Byrds gave us David Crosby and have been inducted, Buffalo Springfield gave us Stephen Stills and Neil Young and have been inducted and it was The Hollies that gave us Graham Nash.

They also do a great cover of Springsteen's "4th of July, Asbury Park (Sandy)."

They started out as a great band but unfortunately they are most remembered for The Air that I breathe which is the forerunner to MOR pap bands like Firefall, Air Supply and America.

Not only were The Hollies one of the great British Invasian bands of the '60's, but they were, IIRC, the first great pop band to come out of Manchester, paving the way for about a billion other great bands to emerge from that city.
