Maybe my judgement was "clouded" back then but I used to think the funniest bits ever were the Hippy Dippy Weatherman and Queenie for a Day. I refer to a neighbors girls as Tandaleo and Congolia. If you know Carlin you probably can guess their last name.

I voted for "Jammin' In New York"

FYI: George Carlin's "Complaints & Grievances" which he toured with in Sept/Oct 2001 was originally called "I Like It When A
Lot of People Die All at Once."

The title was changed for obvious reasons.

question about complaints, was most of the material pre 9/11 (I doubt the entire bit about picking stuff off your body) but the other stuff(wanting to stop and see accidents, the entire list of people who should be killed)

My favorite is You're All Diseased.

Carlin is really angry here and his bit about airport security and worshipping the sun are some of the best bits I've heard.

Nothing stands up to Bill Hicks however. And I don't think anyone ever will.

While we on the subject of Carlin, did he ever do a comedy bit about " the book of the month club", I think thats what its called, he gives out loads of book titles like, "15 things we don't know yet" and "10 places noone been yet".
Is it Carlin or does this sketch sound familiar to anyone else?

You are Diseased was actually, my first expireince with Carlin. My mom put it on when it originally aired, and turned it off after about 10 or 15 min do to the "offensive language" I was about 12 when that came out.

I don't know where it's from originally, but it's in his first book and the audio recording of the book as well. (Braindroppings) There are a few random chapters of it.
