Isn't it more likely that a committe at the Vatican watched the film with the Pope and all decided that this would be the Pope's official stance on things? I find it hard to believe at this point (considering his health) that the Pope isn't getting a lot of help from the others around him on Church policy.

Wow. Lot of anger here. He wasnt saying that you all have to buy Mel Gibson a house just because the pope liked his movie. He's just stating a fact. Get over it.
