It seems like this remake of the Clifton Webb classic is hardly being payed attention too. I loved the original and I want to see the new one. But the lack of marketing is worrying me.
Am I missing something here?

I've seen commercials up the wazoo for this movie. They show up during Smallville episodes at least twice. (I'm guessing cause Tom Welling is in both... )

• Quoth Groucho •
Hmm...I saw about 50,000 commericials for it last night alone. (slight exaggeration)

Yeah, I assumed the thread title was sarcasm. This has been the most heavily promoted film of the holiday season (so far). They're on at least the 3rd or 4th batch of TV ads. The first group made it seem like all Steve with some Bonnie Hunt thrown in the background, and this newest crop gives light to all the known faces that are in it: Welling, Duff, Perabo, and Ashton "I'm AWESOME!!!!" Kutcher. The best part of Christmas will be not having to see ads for this anymore.

And my father is #5 of 12... and I'm #1 of 7.
But I can appreciate the humor in your post Groucho.

Ah, yet another inispid 'hip' remake movie of a book I loved as a kid, just like Eddie Murphy as Hugh Lofting's "Dr. Dolittle." Because they just aren't quite classic kid's lit without fart jokes and Ashton Kutchner. The ol' childhood keeps getting raped, don't it?

A little off topic, but I saw a Simpsons commercial during my viewing of Cheaper by the Dozen last night on Fox.
