forgot the name of the band, but its evanesance with more of a goth sound and less of a nu metal sound (and no rapping.)

also during one of the first commercials, there was a commercial for a band that was consitered goth metal/speed metal/ opera music. and got 4 stars in rolling stone (according ot the review)
who are these bands.

I didn't see it last night, but it might have been Lacuna Coil, who have actually been around longer than Evanesance.

Cradle of Filth doesn't have any female members though do they? I've been seeing a lot of comparisons between Evanescance to Goth this or that. I don't understand because THEY ARE A NU METAL BAND, THEY HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH GOTH IN ANY WAY, SHAPE, OR FORM. FOR ****S SAKE!

I don't beleive he was implying that CoF had a female singer..that was the first question, the CoF question was completely unrelated to the female question.

no I wasn't implying anything about cof. what turned out to be them, was just on a comercial for the cd on the show i watched that had the Lucunia coil song.

if it was Lacuna Coil, the only song I know of that gets airplay is "Swamped"

The video you saw (if it was Lacuna Coil) was for "Heaven's A Lie" that's the only music video they have made so far.
