Daft Punk - Interstellar 555 CD/DVD Region 2 release Dec. 1, Reg. 1: Dec 2nd DVD only
The movie only (DVD release) of this in the states is supposedly the second of December (my birthday).
The import which is a CD/DVD release is a double disc with the first disc comprised of mixes, is released on Dec. 1:

can't seem to find any info if the the DVD soundtrack has been remixed in 5.1 sound or if it is the standard 2.0 stereo album mix.

well according to your link it looks like the CD ('Daft Club') is also available seperately from the DVD. I am surprised the album hasn't been announced or even released with the Region 1 DVD edition, or is it?

I just purchased this today at Best Buy in Canada. It is the 2 disc (includes Daft Club) release. All I can say is that it is amazing. The movie is presented in stereo, DD 5.1 and DTS!!! and it was only $19.99 Canadian.
