I don't think such a song exists. If I like something, I'm not ashamed to admit it.
Admittedly, I'm a guy who performed "Baby, One More Time" the last time I played a gig, so what do I know about anything?

Not really ashamed, as everyone I know knows I like that song, but it's the same kind of thing. Something that would not usually fall into my personal taste. But how can you not like that song!

I happen to think "I Want It That Way" is a really good song, even though I've never had any interest in the rest of the Backstreet Boys' catalog. "MMMBop" was another good song. "Shiny Happy People" a third (though slightly different from a lot of R.E.M.'s other work, which I really like). Or, to add a song from a band that has drawn some ire 'round here, Smash Mouth's "All Star".
There are certainly songs that I wouldn't expect to like based on the artists' other work (see "I Want It That Way"), and it's surprising, perhaps, when I like a particular song. But not embarrassing.
Besides, what's embarrassing changes with time and perspective.

Most of the boy band (N*Sync and BSB) and Britney Spears hits. They're catchy and I've gotten this close to buying their CD's but haven't. I'm older than that demographic buying audience for one.
Oops...I did It Again is a classic hit.
Stronger is a jamming single.

I recall back in high school (in the '70s
) liking an eclectic blend of music, and constantly taking crap for it. The rule was you had to like Led Zeppelin (which I never really did), and ipso facto then you had to like _________, but not __________.Even in the late 1970s when I went headfirst into British punk, I would still occasionally pull out a Rush album.
Thankfully my 12 yr old daughter is following in her old man's footsteps, and I often give her the 'lecture' about liking what you like, not what you 'have' to like.

"I Wouldn't Normally Do this Kind of Thing" by the Pet Shop Boys.
This may be the gayest song of all time...not that there's anything wrong with that. I just wouldn't want to be caught dead listening to this one in front of my male friends.

I'm not ashamed to admit what I like, hell I listen to anything from Dolly Parton to Slayer already. There are probably a few bands I wouldn't brag about liking some of their music though based on my impressions of their artistic integrity as musicians. I think one's musical tastes can say a lot about a person. Then again there is nothing wrong with liking music purely for the enjoyment of it, it is possible to like someone without respecting them.
On that note, don't you want me baby??????

Nothing can beat their version of Abba's "Take a Chance on Me". And they put on a great live show. Worth a DVD if they have one out.

Nice to see that there are other "I Want It That Way" fans out there. Never liked the Backstreet Boys, but I really like that song. A few other recent songs I unexpectedly enjoyed...
Every solo Justin Timberlake song I've heard
That Matchbox 20 song that goes "I'm not crazy, I'm just a little unwell..."
"Comin' Round" by Bubba Sparxxx
