My Panny Is Almost Dead,

It's old though, an A310 model. I've been out of the loop for a while so what's a good replacement for it? I've seen that the prices have dropped dramatically since I bought mine. I don't need a multi-disc model either.

I was hoping to use amazon gc's and they don't have that model on their web site. Any other suggestions on a good replacement?

In its day it was highly rated. It was discontinued by Panasonic shortly thereafter. Despite the ratings I have heard from several friends that the build quality and reliability was poor.

You can find one in my house.....and it's GREAT. Not sure what people are saying about the quality and reliability. The thing has performed great for me for over a year. Reads every disc just fine, recordables and everything.....

I'll agree with the site on the layer change issue though...not really an issue, but it can be noticeable on some movies. But I think it's because I have a sony recevier and the blue light that indicates 5.1 sound goes out during a layer change....just normal stuff.

I like it

Sage FLI2200 deinterlacing chip, amongst other things.
