Which Widescreen TV should I get

On a limited budget here, so I want to get something under $2000, and am looking for a good widescreen TV for DVD viewing...

I'm down to two choices, and I'm wondering if anyone may be familar with these two models (or possibly own one) and would offer their opinions and suggestions (including other good choices in the $1500 to $2000 range). Thanks!

Look for a Mitsubishi. Should be able to find a 55" for around 2k or less.

You can get a SIXTY FOUR inch Pioneer (non-Elite 643-hd5) for $1999 at Costco. (it's never been on their website, so don't bother looking)

Loads of feedback on this TV at Home Theater SPOT (both the Pioneer and RPTV forums). When I was doing my research a little less than a year ago, this was being called the best deal available - and it was being sold at $2799 at that time (I paid $2599).

I've had mine since February, and can't say enough about it!

I agree with the above two posts. Sears is selling the 55413 for about $1900 and there's a rebate on the Pioneer until the end of the month if I'm not mistaken. The top RPTV HDTVs IMO are made by Pioneer, Mits, Toshiba and Panasonic. Hitahi and Sony trail them but tend to still be buggy moreso than the rest.
