1080i switch box
i just got HDcable installed (looks unbelievible by the way) and i only have two hd inserts one for 480P/I and 1080I/480P and my cables in the 1080i and my dvd is in the 480p. my problem is my xbox i had it in 1080i now i need something to pugin both cablebox and xbox then into the tv is there anything out for this that is not too expensive

Try this:

The Radio Shack unit is a manual switcher, so you don't have the same sort of bandwidth concerns as with the JX-S111. 1080i and 720p require a theoretical minimum of 37Mhz of bandwidth. When you factor in losses and stuff, we're really need more than double this, though, to be fair, depending on your display device, you may not notice the difference (or only notice a slight "softening" of the picture). The JX-S111 supports only 30Mhz through its component circuits.
