O.C. time change.

It was going to move to Thursday, but now it is moving to Wednesday instead since they didn't want it running against the nbc/cbs Thursday gauntlet.

FOX has finally made a decision with some common sense.

Not really:

This is what is in the 9 p.m. Wednesday timeslot:

The Bachelor
Angel
The West Wing
King of Queens
Jake 2.0 (okay, not much competition there)

I wish Fox would have the balls to move Joe Millionaire in the Wednesday 9 p.m. slot and go head-to-head with The Bachelor, and that would allow The O.C. to be paired up with Skin on Monday nights.

I don't think so. Common sense would have led them to put it on at 8 Monday or Tuesday. It would have been the perfect lead-in for Skin Mondays at 9.

Now it faces 3 strong shows in West Wing, Bachelor, and King of Queens, not to mention a show that does strongly in the same demo in Angel (and The Bachelor also has the same target demo).

Bad move. They should have either left it where it was since there were no shows that had the same target demo or moved it to Monday or Tuesday at 8. It could have survived against CSI. 90210 faced off against Cheers in the same timeslot in 1990, survived, and went on for a decade.

I don't know why they don't put JM on Tuesdays at 8 since American Idol, their powerhouse, isn't due back for months anyway. Then move OC to Monday at 8 as you and I have said.
