any oppions on NHT SubOneI subwoofer?
My Onkyo sub just isnt cutting it.. destorts way too much.. might even be blown. I am looking to get a new subwoofer but don't have a lot of cash to spend. I recently saw someone selling a used NHT SubOneI sub and was wandering if anyone has any personal experience with it. I checked out the reviewes at audioreview and they seem to be pretty good. Also what is the going rate for it? the guy wants 400 which i think is too much.. so i'd like to know whats the reasonable price for a used one?
Ill be using the sub for 70% movies/ 30% music.
thanks in advance.

NHT subs, including this one, tend to be very clean and tight--plenty of solid bass but not boomy like many others. It will be great for music (can't say that about many popular subs!) as well as HT. As for price, sounds OK, definitely a solid sub for the price--just not sure what the market says for them these days. But it won't disappoint, esp. if you like accurate bass...

Weak for the price. At that level, you might as well pick up an Adire Audio Rava.
