Pacific Famly Entertainment threatened to release it a few months ago. The proposed 'release date' has since passed. As far as I know, the distribution rights still belong to Columbia.

I thought the release date was supposed to be Oct. 28th.

IF other PFE discs are any indication of what to expect, this will probably be a bootleg of poor quality. If it ends up being widescreen, you know the source will be the long OOP Japanese laserdisc, but it might be panned and scanned anyway. A shame, as the movie was shot in real 2:35 to 1 Panavision.
