Question regarding Gameboy SP
Hi guys,
I am planning on travelling to Asia around the end of the year. My question is this: "Should I buy a gameboy sp in the US for the plane ride or should I buy one in Japan?"
The japanese version would be able to play US games so the only thing that would be different would be the color available and the manual would be in japanese.
Also, any recommendation for japanese titles I should be on the look out for?
thanks,
Jim

I'd get the U.S. SP. Getting a Japanese one could be more of a hassle if something goes wrong with it and you need it repaired by Nintendo when you get back to the states.

Galanthas-yeah, I thought about the whole warranty issue. The best buy replacement plan sounds tempting.
pixy-thanks for the suggestion on the game. I read some reviews on it and it really sounds interesting.
thanks!

I wish I could get my hands on the japanese release of Metroid Fusion.

What's so great about the japanese release of Metroid Fusion?

Mr Driller A is the new version, more characters and levels and a "virtaul pet" adventure mode. A is the way to go but I'd imagine you can find 2 for REAL cheap.
Japanese release of Fusion has some cool stuff added to it.. a diffuculty select (Easy, Normal, Hard) and 6 new endings!! The new endings are 1 for beating it on Easy, and 5 for beating it on Hard (same conditions as 5 endings for Normal).. once you beat the game once you get an "Image Collection" which lets you browse any of the ending pictures you've acquired.
I would love to get it, but I can't find it for less than $50 + LOTS of shipping.
