I'd wait just a tad bit longer.

Well Kumar is in Tokyo, not the US. If there's demand for it -- ie. more than list price and you can make back what you made on shipping -- heck, go for it and import a few more while you're at it. Haven't heard of any specific bundles though.

Didn't think there'd be a reverse import market in Japan, but I guess any number of xbox games come out in the US first -- nice to see some interest over there.

BTW -- what kind of interest if any is there in Xbox Live in Japan right now? Just curious.

X-box live in Japan is not going so well. With so little games and little promotions.I wanted to connect my X-box with the Japan network but the X-box Live consultant told me that it cannot be done, and they have no guarantee on the success.
So I gave up on buying a kit.

Microsoft is spending next to nothing on the Asian markets. They have their heads up their collective ass. What's funny is, if more Asians bought an Xbox - the more money they'd spend out there on advertising, promotion and support.

I agree with Tuan - sell it and pick up another one.

I wouldn't, if only because of Halo 2. There are plenty of excellent titles for the system but Halo 2 will be coming next spring and it will blow away all other online shooters.

Week ending August 13th:

1 Nintendo Game Boy Advance SP (44,500)
2 S C E PlayStation 2 (46,300)
3 Nintendo Game Cube (23,800)
4 Nintendo Game Boy Advance (14,700)
5 S C E Playstation ( 800)
6 Microsoft Xbox ( 580)
7 Wonderswan Crystal (610)
8 Wonderswan Color (280)

If you want to play on Live then just sell your X-Box and get a japanese one. It will be a long time until someone figures out a way to do it with a US one probably (if it is even possible).
