Joe Pesci: What in the world happened to him?

Someone just asked me, and I didn't know what to say. I went over to IMDB and to my suprise, he hasn't been in a film since 1998's Lethal Weapon 4.

I mean, I know I haven't really seen him in anything new in a while, but wow, that's a pretty long time.

Is there any certain reason that has been made public as to why he hasn't been in anything lately? Is his health and everything like that doing ok? I've always been a fan of his, and I just thought I'd check in with you guys to see if you have any idea on what's up with him.

Thanks a lot, and long live Pesci!

he should have made a sequel to my cousin vinny. I don't care for sequels much, but I would have loved to see the return of vincent gambini not to mention mona lisa vito.

Retired, or not retired, is he at least doing ok? I just find it amazing that he's almost totally fell out of public eye, other than the films he's done in the past.

I think he had some eye issues, I seem to remember a story about surgery last year? But he still holds his golf classic in Jersey each year, he just had it. Waiting for Scorsese to call I guess. Too bad he didn't find space for him in Gangs of NY.

I too dream of the return of The Karate Kid's Cousin Vinnie Luckily, we have the voice of Vincent Gambini on the hit album 'Joe Pesci Sings' to tide us all over.
