Why are there no big movies for Labor Day Weekend?

All I see is Jeepers Creepers, surely all the holiday weekends are key, or did everyone forget to release movies?

What are you talking about? Labor day weekend is a chance for all those who missed the Medallion last week to see it this week and for both who saw it last week to see it again.

Since most students (college and HS) are heading back to class, Hollywood sees this as the time of year not to release any movies. (Since, as you know, Hollywood pretty much ignores any movie goer over the age of 21).

They think most of the movie going public is too busy on Labor Day weekend to go see movies. College students are packing up to go to school, families are going camping, and anyone who doesn't have plans gets to watch bad movies.

Yup.

Folks leave town...make that last summer trip to the lake, woods or other outdoor activities. Labor Day is anything but a holiday spent indoors or at the movies.
