Deuce Bigalow: Electric Gigolo

Stealing the title from Breakin' 2: Electric Boogaloo? Man, that's scraping mighty low in the creativity barrel!

No scraping.. Electric Boogaloo should be honored as the best sequel title ever. While I eflt the humor of Deuce was below me, I am happy to see the homage to the "great one".

The title is actually stolen from an episode of the Simpsons.

"I want to see the Troy McClure I remember from such films as 'The Make-Out King of Montana,' and 'The Electric Gigolo'."

The Simpsons "The Electric Gigolo" joke is actually a reference to the Robert Redford/Jane Fonda/Willie Nelson pic "The Electric Horseman."

I stand corrected.

However that is even more reason why this sequel name is a play on Breakin' 2 and not the line in the Simpsons, which was the point I was trying (and failing) to make.

"Gigli Too!"

Because Hollywood just refuses to admit they made a mistake.

Even if the title here is playing off the title of Breakin' 2, it's still a joke that's already been made on The Simpsons.

Ignoring where the name came from, i cant wait to see this. The first one was hilarious, one of my favorite comedies.

It's a played out joke, but it's actually funny in this context because 'gigolo' and 'bigaloo' sound so similar. Although it'd be a bit better as 'Deuce 2: Electric Gigolo'.

You guys are all ungrateful he-bitches. If Electric Gigolo is 1/2 as good as the first movie this is going to be hilarious.

I think the first had some really funny parts and a LOT that fell flat.. I hope there is a little more script tweaking this time around, cause what was funny in the first one was pretty good.

It's only in print form, though, but it would make a nice companion piece for Good Burger: A Novelization.
