Matrix Onesheets
Anyone know if the white Matrix Reloaded posters are "highly valuable"?
I got five sheets from a friend about four months ago and was told that they are worth much more than twenty bucks a piece. They are damn cool and I'm not thinking of selling, but I'm just wondering about their true value. Wouldn't want to have them accidentally damaged et al.

Trust me, they're not worth crap. In fact you'd be lucky to get $4 for each one. Tell you what, I'll do you an enormous favor and take them off your hands for $5. You'll be making an extra dollar!

I'm a vintage movie poster collector and can tell you that they aren't worth much. New posters have such a high production to begin with. Even if you have an original theatrical release, there are so many reproductions with newer movie posters (i.e.: spiderman) that it really drives down the market for them.
Years ago, prior to multiplexes, movie posters were distributed to about 5,000 theaters in different sizes on different stock paper depending upon the size.
Here's a few recent purchases of mine:

Well, hey... I wouldn't know. Caiman, I think I'll pass on the offer.
I was trying to get my hands on the Star Wars: Episode II - Advanced Poster and that was sold out before my MO could get to the store. It was (or still is?) highly sought after and worth 30 or 40+ bucks. Imo, that thing was the ONLY worthwhile piece of aesthetic paraphernalia that came out of the whole Episode 2 ordeal.
Huh... just checked the Star Wars section... They have a different version out now for $8.99 but it's not listed as "Advanced"; even the Advanced poster was worth 30 bucks! This is lame.
