Hey gang,

I come to you in search of an answer. Does anyone happen to know the title of the following movie:

Airing on TV in the late 80's/ early 90's, a film about modern-day aircraft carrier entering a time portal (I think in the Bermuda Triangle) and being transported back to 1941. Forced with the decision to destroy the oncoming Japanese fleet headed for Pearl Harbor and altering history or to simply head back home and let history follow its course.

Any help would be greatly appreciated... I've been wracking my brain (and searching the net) and have yet to come up with anything.

I believe it was The Final Countdown (1980)

It is on DVD in Europe, but there is no R1 release. This movie always reminded me about The Philadelphia Experiment. Similar plot, except in reverse.
