Reviews requested: Rabbit Proof Fence/Believer/Crime of Padre Amaro
Just checked the local retail store and saw these 3 films and am wondering if any of them are worth buying :
1) Rabbit Proof Fence
2) The Believer
3) Crime of Padre Amaro
I know...all 3 seem to be "artsy-fartsy" movies to some but the issues of racism and hypocrisy of organized religion seem to attract me time to time.
Appreciate your time!!!

Rabbit Proof Fence is the best of the three listed. Some good acting and very powerful, because of its depiction of real characters.
The Believer is mostly good but I didn't quite buy the duality of the Jewish Nazi. I liked the speeches and such but the rest is fairly standard. Gossling was good.
The Crime of Padre Amaro disappointed me. Seemed a little too plotted for my taste - maybe because they were trying to push the Mary/God allegory instead of trying to portray the reality it was originally aiming for.
