A Christmas Story is not currently on dvd in widescreen, and tonight at 12 am et, it will air in its oar of 1:85 widescreen. Ferris Bueller will air tonight in its oar of 2:35 widescreen. So stop watching the crappy censored and pan and scan tv verisons and watch tonight.

I guess out of the thousand times i've seen Ferris Bueller I've never seen it widescreen. I'm assuming the vhs was P&S? I can't remember. Thanks for the reminder though.

Actually, Ferris is a Super 35 film, I believe. But the widescreen framing is cool.

The DVD has pretty good video quality, a commentary, and it's affordable. If you like the movie (and really, who doesn't?), you should pick it up at some point.

Wow, I'll bet nobody on this forum has ever seen either of those two movies. Way to pad, rypro!

Well, everybody here for the most part when watching A christmas story, they catch it on the 24 hour tnt marrathon and then to find out that tcm runs it, and complain. Just trying to be a little bit of help.
