Many years ago, I saw a number of silent film compilations in elementary school.

One scene, in one of the compilations, involved an entire side of a house falling on top of the comedic lead, but instead of him being crushed, it falls just perfectly, where he is left standing in either the door or a window.

Not sure if its a Keaton or a Lloyd, a short or a feature length film...but I"d love to go back and watch the whole thing. 25 years later, the sequence still sticks in my head.

Can anyone help identify it???

It's Buster Keaton, that much I know. But I'm not sure which of his films it is. I've seen so much of his stuff that it kind of blends into one long movie.

Looks like I got here a little late, but at least I can add that Steamboat Bill, Jr is available on DVD.

Keaton also performed this same stunt in the 2 reeler "One Week".

I happened to be taking a physical comedy class at school and am catching many of these old classics that are amazing, especially Steamboat Bill Jr and The General. Great flicks
