Dazed and Confused (Richard Linklater)
So I rented Dazed and Confused after reading so many great things about and began watching it with no expectations because I hate teen movies with a passion. This was such a great film. Wow. I think I have a new favorite. Ever since I watched it on monday Ive had this craving to watch it again and I just cant stop thinking about it. Did anyone else have this feeling after seeing Dazed and Confused? Does the film ever get old to you?

Great film. Much more than a 'teen movie'.

I never, ever, every get tired of watching this movie. The soundtrack is one of the best ever. The cars, the clothes, the music, and the feel of the movie are perfecto.
I have a question. The guy on the loudspeaker who was driving the truck.....he sounds alot like the guy on Higher Learning.... the leader of the Nazi Skinheads...is that him?
EDIT: Nevermind. I was right. it was him

I always thought the movie was overrated. Saw it a few times and it was enjoyable, but didnt really see anything too special about it. Maybe i gotta watch it again...

One of my favorite shots in cinema is when Wooderson, Pink and Mitch enter and walk through the Emporium.
Aflack reminds me of Sean Penn in this film, he just does not see like him. I know Penn was Spikoli(sp?) but I can not see Spikoli in Penn.

When I was in junior high, there was a guy in high school nicknamed "Crawdaddy". He was the spitting image of Wooderson. Hair, speech pattern and attitude.
This was a great sophmore effort from Richard Linklater.

Everything just comes together in this movie. Its strange, it gives me this intense feeling of nostalgia for a time and decade Ive never experienced. Amazing movie. My new favorite
