Gran Turismo 4 rumors....
Just saw this at the-magicbox.com and my jaw dropped:
"- UNCONFIRMED: Polyphony Digital's highly anticipated PS2 racing game Gran Turismo 4 will feature over 2,000 vehicles and as many as 100 race courses. The game is fully compatible with the PS2 Network adapter, there is a new online battle mode, which allows up to 8 players to battle over the network, and it is also possible to chat with the other players using the headset. Furthermore, you can also exchange vehicles with other players online. "

DerrichAlso, 1000 of the cars you will NEVER be able to afford, unless you buy a gameshark, or you're some dork who's willing to race the same 6 tracks for 10,000 hours just to afford a nissan and maybe open up the Backwards version of a track. And the gameshark probably won't do any good, cause Sony apparently knows how to make games hack proof now. GT3 was a great game, but it was also it's own worst enemy. (IMO)
But the network adapter mode is a plus.

There's a crappy, low-res sreenshot that's making it's way around the 'net but it's not much to go by. I'm too lazy to link it, but it's on IGN if you want to see it. If anything it looks like the trackside detail has improved a lot.
