Madden 04 on PS2

Has anyone heard much about the plans for online gaming in Madden 04? Any significant changes from Madden 03, etc?

The only thing I know is that when '04 comes out, they are stopping the '03 servers.

So Madden 03 online game play will be discontinued when Madden 04 is released?

From the back of the Madden 2003 case:

Online gameplay server will available only through August 31, 2003.

That bodes bad for my Raiders. I hate the friggin Madden jinx. They should put Big Boy back on the cover every year.

why would they put gannon on the cover? The guy choked in the superbowl and killed his own team.

I agree! No reason to put Gannon's sorry ass on the cover after his superbowl performance. Don't they usually go with the MVP each year though?

I think Culpepper was on it a couple of years ago. That didn't work out well for him.

In order George,Culpepper & Faulk expect Vick to be on the front cover this year,EA stays away from the old foke so dont expect Gannon on the cover.

I'm vaguely surprised that they don't put different players on the cover in various regions like the preview mags do.

I remember the last incarnation of the great Front Page Sports Football went with regional covers. It was a great idea, too bad the game was buggy beyond repair and sunk the franchise.

As a Bucs fan, I'm pissed they aren't represented on the cover but I think Alstot was on one year and as long as they will be the default team to select, I'll be happy.

If they put Gannon on the cover, they should have about 5 Buc defenders draped over him, that would be more realistic!

Another thing is EA is a jinx when it comes to puting players on there covers,George was on 2001 cover and he is one of the worst RB in the league now with a 3.0 average,Culpepper was on 2002 and we all no how he did the last 2 years, and Faulk is on 2003 and is battling injurys the last 2 years, now watch they will put Vick on the cover and he will go down in week 3.
