Xbox Exhibition Disc 2 plus bonus Halo Goodies disc for free

I pre-ordered Brute Force at FYE (also The Wall and several other names), and received a free 'Ultimate Halo Companion DVD Set'. It contains 2 DVDs inside.

1 - the Exhibition 2.0 Demo Disc

2 - A DVD full of Halo movies, interviews, and trailers for Halo 2; Brute Force trailers, and DVD-ROM content.

There is also a 14 page Brute Force mini hint book inside.

A great deal for $5, since the Demo disc alone will cost you at least that.

And, if I decide to buy Brute Force at FYE, I already have $5 down.

Also $5 at Best Buy, and the coupons work, making it free.

Anyone buy this yet besides me?

I'm drooling over those Brute Force movies..... I know the gameplay won't look that good, but dang, I'm sold!

Gamestop is also giving out these discs with a $5 deposit towards Brute Force.

I bought this earlier this week. There is also a coupon inside that gives you $5 off any video game $19.99 or higher - expires in June 2003. So the 2-disc set pretty much pays for itself.

The Halo companion DVD was interesting - I saw some pre-release old footage that I'd never seen before. And the Brute Force trailers were cool.

The Exhibition disc was very well done! It was the first Xbox exhibition disc I'd seen, and the contents and presentation is SO much better than the PS2 Jampack discs.

There was a video on the Exhibition disc that showed footage of the Halo Nat'l Championship. After seeing that, I wish I had gone there (I didn't even know about the tourney until too late). There really was only one decent player in that tourney - the winner, "HP Darkman." All the other players were pathetic. The rules for the tourney were really dumb too. The final round had competitors fighting with NO shields and 200% health. Well, OF COURSE everyone is going to use pistols only - one shot to the head is instant death. I was surprised that people in the preliminary round used assault rifles instead of pistols when the health was set to 200% - IDIOTS!

I just bought this for free at Best Buy. The $5 Gamers Gift Card coupons are good on all items, not just ones 19.99 and over. Computer will deduct $5 automatically.

I've also picked up GBA cases and other cheap accessories for free.

They will scan it if you ask them to. The computer will then find the 'package price' (maybe they have to hit a 'package price' button, but I think its automatic).

I just opened one of my free Best Buy sets. It includes some nice coupons. 10% off a DVD, $5 off xbox game, $5 off Prima strategy guide, and 10-25% off xbox network stuff.

Coupons worked for me again today, got about 6 free items.
