Latest tune your heard from your disc collection while food shopping?
I was food shopping today and I heard music with Lee-Anne Rymes singing "Can't Stop The Moonlight" from DVD disc owned "Coyote Ugly" (Lee-Anne sang it for character Violet Sanford). Actually I have never seen a subject like this one.
Why not post it see the reaction from others on discs that became favorites of yours and you heard the unique 'new' song to the disc being played and you knew all the words, from watching it over and over as the disc became a favorite.
I started singing it and some people looked at me wondering how I knew all the words. A woman said "you got that song nailed down and you didn't miss a beat, and your not even Mr. O'Donald." What is your latest you heard playing somewhere ?

One of the first men charactor Violet Sanford (hopeful song writer) meets while trying to get her songs played and published, for some one else to sing them.
About 18 and first time in the big apple she's from Perth Amboy, NJ. Another prank from a friend makes Violet 'think' Mr. O'Donald is the manager of the club. Mr. O'Donald (same age) takes a shine to her and tries to get her over her fear of singing in front of a live audience while falling in love with her.
msbailey Like women 'dancing' on top of a long bar in a bar room, with all the right 'moves' this disc is for you, then maybe you'll be singing some tunes out loud and getting the looks. LOL
Movie Title: "Coyote Ugly" featuring voice overs like "Eddy and the Cruisers", only the gal is Lee-Ann Rymes singing for Violet 'Jersey" Sanford. BTW The food store with the music is one of the Redners chain, owned by the employees.

Well, to give a response to your actual question...
I have not ever heard music in the store, but I have seen that Victoria's Secret ad that plays music from Snatch

LOL your missing the point, the subject is what song did you hear shopping I mentioned a food store because this is the only one I use. I am not a professional singer but I have never been laughed at, singing a song either.
The questions is to those that are not ashamed of their 'singing' voice, if a song from a newer DVD disc that you seen quite a few times comes on, will you sing the favorite song out loud no matter who is looking. I have been singing out loud in showers, cars, shopping malls, or food stores since I was a child and I am in my 50's and still enjoying it. Now it's tunes from DVD discs that I have seen and can't get the music out of my head.

Good for you at least I am not the only singer that's is not professional but still songs the songs I can't get get out of my head. Sondg from DVD disc Rembering Patsy (Patsy Cline~Country and Western singer 1932-1963) had Marsha Thortons Bottle of Wine and Patsy Cline in stereo only one other song in not monaural. That Bottle of Wine song, stuck in my head for weaks.
Another group from DVD discs "An American Band" and "Endless Harmony" Stories about "The Beach Boys", oh lordy do I start singing those songs. Glen Frey on EH disc "you know all the words from every song", my favorites Kokomo and Do it again. You hear those songs being played, you don't 'want' to sing along with The Beach Boys?

Uh...I don't know if this counts, but the other day I was somewhere and I heard the song "In Your Eyes" by Peter Gabriel...instantly I thought of Say Anything.
Good movie...I have to get that one.

I was in Best Buy the other morning. Glanced at the display of 8 Mile, and for some reason, I started singing Eminem's "Without Me". Granted, it's not from the movie, but it's close enough.
Now, I'm about as un-Eminem as you can get (graying mid-30's overweight man wearing a hawaiian shirt), so that at least explains why my wife refused to acknowledge knowing me.

I was in Taco Bell a few days ago, and "Xanadu" came on the music ... I adore that film (and ONJ) .. It made me go home and watch it again (I think that is viewing 1 million or something)
