Playstation 2 Multiplayer Adapter @ Best Buy

I was in Best Buy this evening and found the Multiplayer Adapter from Interact on clearance for $9.99. I picked one up and tested it out with a few games and it worked great. This deal is also available on their website.

Hopefully someone will benefit from this. I did not see it posted elsewhere.

So is this the 3rd party equivalent to Sony's Multitap?

Yes... it does the same exact thing as the Sony branded model.

Ok thanks. The multitap has got to be one of the biggest add-on rip-offs. BB was still selling these for around $34.99...

I agree with that!! I always wanted one but refused to pay $35 for that thing. When I saw the Interact one for that price I didnt think twice about it.

By the way they my store had them marked with big "open item" stickers but they were not opened at all. I think this was there method of marking clearance items as well.

There were also a variety of other clearance items like the USB HUB from those gameshark guys for $5 and some memory cards for $20. Something else I wasnt familiar with but was called Codebreaker and was $5. There were a few others but thats all I can remember. They all had those open item tags though but I checked them all and they were really "new product". Even if none of these items interest you there might be some other stuff worth your while.

The USB hub will also work for a computer. I have one and it works great.

Well, it seemed like these are all sold out at BB.com and nearby B&Ms. Does anyone know who else carries these in stores that I can price-match with the BB ad?

Target doesn't price-match anymore.
