Cross referencing threads is frowned upon.
Note I did not use the phrase 'pimping'.

Why is it frowned upon? It's all the same DVDTalk. I could see if he was pointing to another site altogether (an early mistake of mine ), but it's all in the same DVDTalk family.

I think it's fine because it could benefit from member comments from both forums. Personally, I wouldn't have noticed there was a War forum until I saw that thread.

Really? So is your comment. If it bothers you so much, next time just report the post to a moderator.

I'd honestly like to get as many opinions as possible. I think the topic is interesting enough. Perhaps I was better off posting it here instead.

Sheesh. It doesnt bother me. I just figured you didnt know. It certainly doesnt bother me enough to report it. These threads just usually get closed. Most of the time its otters who want to link a computer forum problem in other to get more help. But they still get closed.

Relax.

You know, I bet someone somewhere is keeping notes on the events of the war as they happen, mission-by-mission, to be represented in a video game in some form or another.

For instance, today I heard about a mission where there was a threat of Iraqi guerrillas attacking diesel fuel trucks that were going to the Marines. So they put Marine snipers on the ground as well as tanks to protect. I thought this could be a mission right out of Ghost Recon.
