Advance wars is on many peoples' list. (Turn-based war strategy game, abit deeper than my old fave, Military Madness on the TG-16.)

I really like Pinball of the Dead as well. (An update/'homage/ripoff(?) of the TG-16 Devil's Crush game.)

For first person shooters, Doom is a good on-the-road version, and Duke Nukem and Ecks and Sever are all good FPS's.

Namco Museum is good for a few classics. I also plan to get the Konami classics. Was steered away from the WIlliams classics--great games, poor execution. Heck, Joust on the GBC is a better version of a great classic.

Racing games: The #1 cartoonish one would be Mario Kart Advance; Antz Racing isn't too bad but there are too many obstacles on each track. Krazy Racers is also good. Sega Rally is a good rally racer. Haven't tried others.

Finally, I'm waiting to find a deal on Virtua Tennis!

Can't comment on rpg's because they're not my cup of tea. $^)

What I have:
Advance Wars
Metroid Fusion
Yoshi's Island (Super Mario Advance 3)
Legend of Zelda: LttP/Four Swords
Worms World Party
F-Zero

What I want next:
MegaMan & Bass
Advance Wars 2

What I hear are also good:
Castlevania (both)
Mario Kart

Of course, it depends on your preference. Here's IGNPocket's list of Top 15 games: http://pocket.ign.com/articles/390/390646p1.html

Lesser-known, but great racing game:
Karnaaj Rally (pronounced Carnage).

It was $9.99 at Elec. Bout. when I picked it up.

I also agree about Advance Wars.
Excellent game!

Also, here's a link to the 15 must-haves, according to IGN.com

I would have to throw in Tactics Ogre into the mix, as I am currently hooked on it, and it is excellent.

Other games of note, not mentioned above for me would be:

Puyo Pop-- Tetris-like game that has a great multiplayer.
Konami Arcade-- Great arcade games, including Gyruss, Time Pilot, and Frogger.
Sega Smash Pack-- Sonic Spinball, Golden Axe, and Echo.

Try searching the forum. There's been a ton of "Best GBA games" and since the GBA SP plays the same games there's those threads will be just as usefull.

My favorites are "Please Search Before Posting" by Capcom. And "Perhaps it's Time for a Sticky?" from Udisoft.

Slightly off-topic: The Digable Planets rule! Wish they had kept going after Blowout Comb. That was a sweet album. Didn't know anyone was still into them.

I have to add Klonoa: Empire of Dreams to the list, great little platformer, as are all klonoa games.

How about "Try and Be Nice To A New Member" by a normal person with social manners.

We've had this thread at least once a month. I did a tiny bit of searching and found this link on the 3rd page of a search:

http://www.dvdtalk.com/forum/showthr...ameboy+advance

Close cuz it's a dupe
