Well ABC shows it's true colors tonight! If you missed it, he had the "rock,paper, scissors" world champ on the show and she brought her trophy along. It had a hand showing the middle finger on it, and ABC had fused an index finger onto it to make it show a peace sign instead - of course, Dave Foley and Scott Thompson of Kids in the Hall found that ridiculous, so Thompson took the other finger off, and we were then treated to at least 30 seconds of a blank screen showing the abc logo until they went to a break. When they came back the statue was gone.....to which Foley adroitly pointed out "that is what we're fighting for!" Truly unbelievable....

Oh, and Slash is the guest host this week and was pretty good.....

That was pretty funny, but why did the trophy have a middle finger on it? They said they made it to look like a peace sign, but it seems like it should have been that way for the scissors.

I'm not sure why it would have a middle finger...but i'm not sure why someone would win a $1,000 for being the best at rock, paper, scissors either I would guess that since she won she can flip off the other contestants now? I'm guessing it wasn't a real formal affair, so they had fun with the trophy and made it a big F You to all who lost....too bad ABC doesn't have a sense of humor....maybe their ratings would improve if they did.....

I can't believe I missed the show when Foley and Thompson were on.

i saw it. i was pretty pissed at how they treated janelle maloney(sp?). not only does she get second-guested, but the whole time they showed no respect for her. the two first guys, while funny (i love gays) were all in her interview.

also, they need to have a backup second couch. the current one was all clogged yesterday.

as for the trophy, i found the close to half-minute of abc screen to be radiculos. what anal censors they have there.

Oh brother. This show is on after midnight. Why would they hire someone like Jimmy Kimmell if this is the kind of crap the network censors are going to pull.

Yeah, they're definitely going to have to lighten up on the censorship or cancel him. I think Jimmy would consider it a victory either way. I think he still is in disbelief that they gave him a show after they turned down The Man Show at the last minute. (They had a deal going at ABC before they landed at Comedy Central) You would think they'd at least let them go as far as NYPD Blue.

I found it funny they wouldn't let him show any Oscar footage.

yeah, what was the deal with that? they think he'd bring down the prestige of the oscars? everying makes fun of them ALL THE TIME. this man is just funnier than most. give him a break.

her attitude was not covered up by her moderate (at best) looks. she was annoying. and seriosuly, i hope you could do better.
