one more day till oscar time! i know many want to be able to discuss the show so I thought we better get this thing set up. perhaps we should list our predictions beforehand (there is also a yahoo pool for dvdtalkers--link below)

seems there are no reporters on the red carpet. they have cameras showing the stars arrive, but all the discussion and commentary are coming from the studios.

I fear this will be a trainwreck of an awards ceremony if some of the presenters feel compelled to open their big political yaps and tell the world their views on the war. This would be the time to have a big hook ready to gong show them out of there, or use a trap door behind the podium to get rid of such politicking on an awards show.

I am totally with you Rypro that is why I do not want Chicago to win tonight. Moulin Rouge was so much better.

If Julianne doesn't win, I don't know what is going on.

Well to be techincal.. it was a disney Distributed film.. so they do get some credit or else it would just be up for foriegn films.
