When and where was this announced? Is he opening for the Toasters, or is this a private show?

Honestly... not sure when it was announced. I think people on the beck mailing list got mailed something, but I am on it and got nothing. I saw it on the Beck BBS this morning. He isn't opening for Toasters... I think he goes on at 7:30 pm or so. Toasters are at 10, I think?

Dang, sold out on TicketSucker! I have a friend who works at Tunes in Hoboken, so maybe he could pull some strings...oh well. Thanks, though!

Yeah, it sold out in like a minute... that's why I am so excited. I feel honored.

I have been to Maxwell's several times and am almost shocked that Beck is playing there. It isn't a big venue by any means.

Not a Beck fan, but it's nice to see Hoboken getting some love!!

Maxwell's is great. I'm not a big fan of the guy who runs the place these day's though. Talk about "elitist".

It was so awesome... Played with a full band, mostly stuff off Mutations and Sea Change. Couple of earlier songs, and a few covers. He ended with a medley consisting of Nelly's "Hot in Herre", Tom Tom Club's "Genius of Love", Busta Rhyme's "Put your eyes where your hands can see" or whatever it is called and finally Prince's "Erotic City" It was really awesome... the guy is oozing with talent.

Completely packed.

In fact, there was a huge line outside trying to get in.

That place is small. I saw the Rezillos play Maxwell's this summer.
