Big Fat Greek Wedding... just curious...

Am I the only one who noticed that the editors of this film replaced the E's with what they apparently considered "Greek E's," but which is actually a capital sigma? So the title translated reads, "My Big Fat Grssk Wedding," etc.

Is anyone going to buy this stupid movie?

I'll bet it bombs. The audience who made this movie a hit aren't into DVD, they're more the crowd that digs on manually winding a Victrola.

I thought it was funny (the sigmas as well as the movie), but I won't be buying the DVD.

A little Windex should fix those sigmas.

(I hated this movie.)

I am buying it. I think it is fair to say that I am "into DVD."

I disagree. I never saw the movie, but I'm sure it will sell. How well is to be determined, but any move that has that word of mouth will be just fine.

And a few million more just like you. That combined with the fact that most of the people who saw it in the theaters very much enjoyed it and that there are tens of millions of people out there now who previously couldn't program their VCR who are now "into DVD." I don't think Pants is aware of the massive shift in the DVD demographic over the past year or so.

MBFGW will be one of the 20 or so best selling DVDs of the year.

I've noticed the entire Greek restaurant industry has adopted this practice as well.....shock!

It's just an ethnic thing, it looks like an E.
