I loved Chicago!

What a great film! It was so original and unique. The performances were great even though Richard's voice wasn't all that hot. Catherine Zeta Jones and Renee Zelweger will both be obviously nominated for Oscars and I'm pretty sure now that my prediction that Chicago will walk away with this year's Best Picture Oscar will come true.

I loved Moulin Rouge last year but I thought Chicago was ALOT better. The story was very intriguing and I thought this movie would have worked awesome even if it hadn't been a musical, unlike Moulin Rouge.

I think this would be placed #5 on my top 10 of the year behind Catch Me, TTT, Minority Report and The Pianist. This film had Oscars written all over it though. I hope it wins alot of awards and makes alot of dough in the box office.

I've seen this flick twice and been playing the soundtrack for 24 hours straight. It was a really great flick, and the cast was terrific. I especially enjoyed Zeta-Jones and Gere...both really blew me away....and of course John. C Reilly was great as always.

Rob Marshall hopefully has plans to bring some more magic to the screen. The film was highly entertaining and looked great too... I think this is a front runner for the Best Picture Oscar... I hope so anyhow.

I too hope this will win some gold. I think Miramax has much better chances with this one than Gangs of New York.

Hope you're right, but it still hasn't played in lots of areas... If it's ever going to, now... At least no theater within 60 miles of here ever showed it, unlike Gangs of New York...

I'd hate it if this film flops once it goes nationwide. Hopefully the studios won't let the fact that Middle America is mostly idiots sway their opinion.

Jan 24 nationwide. I would hope for at least 15 million opening weekend.

Was definitly better than Moulin Rouge (ugh the pain of that movie still hasn't left me) and Catherine Zeta Jones was born for that role.

That being said, not a great movie by any means, but not bad at all.

I really liked it too. However, Chicago discussion should take place here:
