How Did They Get the Joker's (Nicholson) Mouth Like That in "Batman?"

I still don't know and if anyone can tell me, I'd be interested. Does anyone know if Jack thought it was painful or hard to have is face fixed like that?

Also, at the end of the movie, after the SPOILER OBVIOUSLY.............

Joker dies, we hear endless (almost looped) laughing. Is this just a tape recorder or something? Gordon found a green pouch and was looking at it as if that was the cause of the noise...anyone know? Thanks.

Joker dies?? SPOILERS!!! AHHH!!!

use the spoiler tag pal. It was indeed a looped recording.

As for Jack, they tried conventional Movie make up and face parts but they found it best to just dump Jack into a pool of Radioactive waste. When he got out he had that look perfect. Though at the cost of heavy make up on every other movie he has done to make him look "normal". Now that my friend, is a committed Actor.

Just make up. Makes you wonder...

How did they remove arnolds bones and replace them with a Metal skeleton in T3?

I'm guessing you realize that that's an animatronic head.

Um, makeup? Just a bit of latex around the sides of his mouth as far as I recall.

PacMan2006,

It was a combination effect. There were firm silicone dental inserts that stretched his grin wider by packing the upper portion of his cheeks. The red makeup he wore helped give the impression of a tighter "pull" to his lips.

IIRC, he did go on record as saying that it was somewhat uncomfortable.

The little green bag was one of those gag things you can get in a joke shop. I used to see ads for them in the comics.

Not on this one, but you get the idea:

Weren't those things called laughing bags or something like that. I remember a kid at school had one around the time the movie came out. You could get them at toy stores.
