Your favorite movie posters?

I want to put up two movie posters in my apartment. I want your opinions on your favorite movie posters ever. I am partial to these so far, but will listen to anything.

I have the Seven Samurai poster you have there in my room. It's awesome.

I also really like Woody Allen's "Shadows and Fog" theatrical release poster.

The Big Trouble poster is a classic. Something also along those lines is the poster for Adventures in Babysitting. Also hand-drawn/painted.

I really like the new Confessions of a Dangerous Mind poster, sorry I can't post a pic, but here's the link:

http://www.movieposter.com/cgi-bin/m...l?pid=MPW-4038

BUT, the best one sheet the come along in the last five years or so, imo, is the colorful Out of Sight poster, someone please post a pic of it, several of Talkers know which one I am talking about. Thanks.

While not promotional posters in the truest sense, I quite like the "monologue" posters for Trainspotting. One is the opening monolgue; I own that one. There's another that is the "drugs we stole" monologue.

As for promo posters, I quite like the UK poster for Leon (The Professional). It's black and red. Very striking.

gotta go with the star wars ep 2 teaser (loved the poster) and the international almost famous poster as posted in the other poster thread. i can find pictures if you do not know the ones i am referring too. i also have recently fell in love with the original disney posters for their recent movies. beauty & the beast, aladin, lion king, and lilo & stitch in particular. i am sure you have seen the thread but the posters thread with 8 pages in it has some excellent posters in it.

I could never afford originals of the last 5, but reprints are easily found.

Its funny, because when Dances came out, I didn't like the purple posters. But over time they've grown on me.

This poster will always bother me because Jay is nowhere to be found (i know the story as to why Jason Mewes isnt on there)

I have 4 posters up in my little show off room.

Back to the Future 2
Army of Darkness
5th Element
and the first "Aliens" poster....all black with "ALIENS", the tag line, and movie credits.

Very very glad i got the BTTF2 and Aliens ones...both are orginals. (the others i believe are reprints)

My room will speak for my favorite movie posters.

Hanging currently:

Il Corvo (Italian The Crow poster)
Equilibrium
Brotherhood of the Wolf
Mulholland Dr. (again the Italian version)
Fight Club (Pitt grinning with soap)
Fight Club (rules)
The Boondock Saints
Charlie Chaplin's The Kid
Snatch (Pitt & Del Toro)
The Game
Memento
Ocean's 11 (miniature)
Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels
The Crow: City of Angels
LOTR: FOTR (Frodo looking down at ring)
Black Hawk Down
Frailty
Run Lola Run

Phew.

One of the definite favorites:

My poster collection comprises of :

Robocop
Near Dark
Henry V (Kenneth Branagh version)
Cook, Thief, His Wife and Her Lover (UK one sheet)
Dawn of the Dead
Possession

I am trying to find a one sheet for "City of God" but no one seems to have one for sale.
