this movie looks awesome.what d you think about it?i think it might be pretty scary just like the ring.

The theatre and online trailer looks great. The one they're showing on TV looks like crap (kind of like "The Ring" meets "Ghost Ship"). I want to see it. Based on the longer theatre trailer I saw.

The title is much better than the original which was Tooth Fairy. Dunno how it will fair since Final Destination 2 is opening the weekend after it and They went away grossing only $12M in 6 weeks.

Considering the McFarlane Movie Maniac toy of it has been out for months now. I really don't have any expectations for this movie. It will just be another "scary" movie. make some money and disappear all to quickly.

I dunno...premise sounds kinda neat, but i automatically assume all modern horror movies suck.

I'll probably check it out. I love Emma Caufiled and it'll be cool to see her on the big screen.

Oh, this is Tooth Fairy?? Tooth Fairy is a much better name. Yeah, it's cheesy, but it gives you a better idea of what kind of twisted things this movie might offer. Darkness Falls sounds like generic visually stylish horror trash. They might as well have called it Dragonfly or something...

I'm not so sure. I've heard stories of gratuitous studio meddling, re-editting, etc. Also, that Macfarlane toy? the original Tooth Fairy, apparently, was nothing at all like the MacFarlane version. The studio, in their infinite wisdom, decided that the villain should look scarier and NOT just be finally shown in the final act, but instead, should look scary and be shown throughout the film.

I hate executives.

Maybe we'll see a director's version on the DVD. As well as the original short, "Tooth Fairy", which it's supposed to be based on.

The title is stolen from one of the best X-Files episodes ever made, and although it didn't deal with a child or the tooth fairy the whole staying in the light theme was central to the plot. Every time I see the preview for this on TV it annoys me because of the title. They should have stayed with Tooth Fairy.

I saw some footage of it yesterday at the Fangoria Weekend of Horrors. It looks pretty cool

i dont think anyone suspected much from the ring except for people who saw ringu and i didnt i was so scared of the ring i lost a whole night of sleep.this might be another one of those movies where no one is thinking anything of it then it gets very popular and is scary as ****.

if you wanna see something funny goto the official darkness falls website i forget the url.they have a cartoon about the tooth ferry story its pretty funny.

It looks pitiful to me.

It's rated PG-13. Unless they can get some scares like Ring and Signs did this movie will suck bad like the movie They did.

just thought id let you guys know 10 more days until its in thetres everywhere and wtf how is signs scrary? its a sci fi movie name some scary parts some one? th ring made me loose a whole night of sleep i slept like just watched a regualr movie when i saw signs.
