Movies that age well

What are some pre-1980 movies that age well? My vote is for Star Wars and Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.

Robert Davi-Sanchez in Licence to Kill said Cubby Broccoli made Bond films to last. Connery's Dr No and From Russa with Love, less technology in those help.

The Sting ages much better than Butch Cassidy for me. Best con man movie ever!

Mostly if we can name it it has aged well. The whole reason a film that is 30 or more years old remains part of public awareness is because it has transcended its era and has therefore "aged well". We don't even know the names of films that havn't aged well
