Can anybody ID this old horror/serial movie for me?

Dad used to have an old Super 8 called The Giant Claw (I think). Had a woman running around in a jungle outfit, jumping into a waterfall and resucing a man after he was attacked with a native weapon (balls on string).

Also had a giant lobster that they were all firing onto the beach.

The first part I think is from the JUNGLE GIRL serial, but Giant Crab part I can't find where this is from.

Can anybody help? And it's not the Giant Bird/Giant Claw, have allready tried.

Many thanks!!!

Possibly Roger Corman's Attack of the Crab Monsters (1957).

Check out some video here: www.badmovies.org/movies/crabmonsters/

Teenagers from Outer Space (1959) has a giant lobster.

Godzilla vs. the Sea Monster (1966) has a giant crab-like thing.

Thanks as always Dimension, I don't think it's any of those.

The name of the Super 8 might have been The Claw Monster, though nothing shows up. I've been looking for this one for some time now. I think Jungle Girl that old serial might help me, but I can't find any mention of a Crab monster in any of her serials.

Hey, how is that Corman film? Sounds pretty good!

Those Super 8 movies sometimes had different titles from the movies they were excerpted from, so it could have been called The Claw Monster.

Can you supply any more details about what you do remember?

As for Attack of the Crab Monsters - I haven't seen it in quite a few years. Sorry, I really don't remember what I thought of it.

From: Chicago, IL,
I looked for it on Ebay, and couldn't find it.

It started with the girl from JUNGLE GIRL resucing a man who had been attacked by a native (Whit this balls and string weapon around the neck) who had fallen into a lagoon. She jumps in, and resuces him. They get out, but a Giant Crab/Lobster comes out of a cave, and starts to attack them. They go after it with rifles and stuff.

We used to have quite a few of these, Ghidra, the Three Headed Moster, Mysterious Dr. Satan, I was a Teenage Werewolf, Song of Kong, 7th Voyage of Sinbad, The Spider, 4-D Man, etc.

Even today, when I watch one of the full movies (like Landon's Werewolf) and see those scenes from the Super 8 appear, I get all wishy washy!

So the crab was from the same movie. I was under the (mistaken) impression that they were scenes from two different films.

I don't have the Jungle Girl serial (I've been meaning to order it), so I don't know if that's the one or not.
