...I know (almost) nothing about this movie, but am very interested in it. Does anyone know anything about it?

All you need to know is that it is vastly overrated, and overall I am incredibly unimpressed with Shunji Iwai's oeuvre.

Yeah, its a bit too long and self-indulgent.

Basically its a story about a couple of high school kids who obsess over a singer (Lily Chou Chou), as their lives take a dark turn.

I liked it, but I feel like I didn't get it. Anyone out there able to point me to an explanation of what the heck happened in this film? It's beautiful, but a little baffling...
