Who plays Halo & DOA3 in Chicagoland?
Once every month or so, a few friends and I get together at a friend's house and play Halo. We play all types - king of the hill, oddball, slayer, even race. We currently get only 4 people together at most, but we'd like to get more. Maybe if enough people got together, we could do some nice capture-the-flag games.
We are looking for more gamers to join us to play Halo and Dead or Alive 3, but mostly Halo. We are all in the 25-35 age range and don't smoke, drink, or swear. We're pretty nice people. We don't have anything against occasional vulgar language and drinking, but no smoking please. Basically we are just looking for some mature adults who want to have fun.
Anyway, to make the offer more enticing, here is our setup:
DLP projector (S-video hookup to the Xbox)
DD5.1 audio system mid-fi. around $5k-ish.
2 X-Arcade Joysticks.
Lots of room.
We have enough Xboxes, and even a bunch of extra controllers, but not enough people.
We usually play Saturday evenings anywhere from 5PM-2AM in Bolingbrook, IL (southwest suburb). You'll have to drive yourself. People of all skill levels welcome... although if you haven't beaten Halo on legendary difficulty yet, you might be a little overmatched.

I went to the Halo National to compete and there was so much talent out there that left me with my mouth wide open but I'm game.
