Like Hell: Jeepers Creepers 2..

I was expecting at least a straight-to-video release but they seem to be pretty serious about this one. Is it because they're only greenlighting sequels in Hollywood right now?

Like Hell!? Is that really the title or your reaction to the sequel?

I'm not looking for a sequel, but I thought Jeepers Creepers was a great, fun horror film.

I thought I remember the original pulling in some decent money at the box office, and I don't remember there ever being doubt about a sequel. In fact, I thought I had already heard about it being in the works, but I could be mistaken. I thought the original was OK. Not great, but it wasn't horrendous either.

Did the pervert direct this one too?

The original made decent money and exceeded everyone's expectations. That said, no one would have to ask for it and a sequel will be made.

Let's hope it is more like the first half of Jeepers Creepers than the last half...

During filming it was called :

Like a Bat out of Hell: Jeepers Creepers 2.

It was then shortened to : Like Hell: Jeepers Creepers 2

This past week MGM announced that it has been delayed from April to the last weekend in August and they are dropping the "Like Hell" from the title, so now it is just :

Jeepers Creepers 2.

This one has more than one creeper and it involves a high school basketball team and all their cheerleaders getting stuck in the middle of nowwhere after their team bus wrecks.

Excerpts from the script showed up online last year during filming, and although I am not really looking forward to this movie, I did read of one cool scene:

The original was a lot better than many movies that have spawned sequels. No big deal.

The first one was OK, except for the ending. That was pretty lame.

I tend to agree w most here, the first half of the movie wasn't to bad, until I actually started seeing the creeper, and that ending... terrible.

I couldn't agree more. I loved the first half of the film, but once you saw the creeper it sorta ruined it. I still liked it though, and I'll probably watch a part II.

Salva: In this scene, the creeper needs to get some new genitals, therefore he has to eat your genitals. Here, I'll play the creeper for the audition....
